Artist Statement
“How can one evoke the sensuality of hot glass with an object that is cold?”
“This is the question I ask myself as I am conceiving a piece.How can one create objects that one would like to savor and that one never tires of touching?How can one give glass flavor?”
I explore these queries by creating simple shapes that bend, twist and drip and which are infused with rich colors.By letting torrents of seeds gush forth and letting them explode into maturity, ripe fruits that burst and let their nectar flow forth.”
